Layout and Installation
the actual process of laying a hardwood floor usually goes very quickly. And despite the inevitable minor problems, the work is quite gratifying.
Actual installation happens in two stages design and layout, followed by racking, cutting and nailing, of the two, the design and layout stage is surely the more perplexing, especially for beginner. Some people have a natural knack for good design.

To figure out how you want the floor to look carefully measure the floor plan and draw it to scale on a piece of graph paper. Sketch in all of the details. You may want to dertermine the lack of squareness.
